Today, I want to share something a little different.

Many of you know Daily UAE Jobs as a platform where I regularly share UAE vacancies, job-search guidance, CV tips, LinkedIn advice, and career opportunities.

But I want you to know something important:

I don’t only share job vacancies. When I receive a genuine hiring requirement and your profile matches, I also try to personally refer suitable candidates whenever possible.

A PM can summarize research, draft a PRD, and mock up a prototype before lunch. The hard part starts when the team has to decide what actually gets built.

Yesterday was a real example.

I received an urgent requirement from a company looking for candidates for a Customer Service Representative position.

The hiring requirement came with a very short timeline.

I had approximately two hours to identify suitable candidates.

So at around 5:05 PM, I shared the opportunity with my network, including Daily UAE Jobs and my LinkedIn audience.

The response was immediate.

I received a large number of applications within a very short period.

But I did not simply forward everyone.

From all the applications I received, I carefully reviewed the profiles against the actual job requirements.

I looked at factors such as:

After reviewing the applications, I shortlisted 10 candidates who appeared to be the strongest match for the position.

I then referred those 10 candidates to the company.

Here’s what happened after the referrals:

10 candidates referred

6 candidates received interview/initial screening calls

4 candidates were selected

For me, this is much more meaningful than simply posting another vacancy.

Because behind every application is a person waiting for an opportunity.

And when I have the chance to connect the right candidate with the right employer, I will always try to do that.

Some candidates contacted me shortly after receiving calls from the company.

One candidate wrote:

“Hello, I received the call. Thank you. Hope I will get shortlisted.”

Another shared:

“I received a call, initial telephone interaction. Mentioned they will get in touch with me soon. Thank you.”

For privacy, personal information should always be hidden before screenshots are published.

Not to claim that I can get everyone a job.

I cannot.

And I will never promise anyone a job, interview, or referral that does not exist.

I am sharing this because I want Daily UAE Jobs subscribers to understand what I am trying to build.

Daily UAE Jobs is not meant to be another website that simply copies and publishes vacancies.

My goal is to create a platform where UAE job seekers can access:

Verified job opportunities.
Practical job-search guidance.
CV and LinkedIn support.
Interview insights.
And genuine referral opportunities whenever they become available.

Yesterday’s experience is one small example of that mission.

Those candidates had very little time.

The opportunity moved quickly.

This happens regularly in the UAE job market.

Sometimes an employer needs candidates urgently, and the hiring process may start within hours.

That means you should not wait until the perfect vacancy appears before preparing yourself.

Your CV should already be updated.

Your LinkedIn profile should already be professional.

You should know which positions actually match your experience.

And when a genuine opportunity appears, you should be ready to apply quickly.

Because sometimes the difference between getting considered and missing an opportunity is simply:

Preparation + Relevance + Timing.

If you are currently looking for work in the UAE, please understand one thing:

I cannot personally refer every subscriber.

But whenever I receive a genuine requirement and I see candidates whose experience genuinely matches what the employer needs, I will try to support and refer suitable people whenever possible.

That is also why I always tell you:

Do not randomly apply for every vacancy.

Build a strong profile and apply where you actually match.
